2008 Specialized Hardrock XC Disc

If I ride a bicycle in the middle of the summer of 2007 I had just started a bicycle. It was the bike my parents bought me when I was 14 or 15 years. A Schwinn travelers. I hung in my garage and one day I decided I had to start working again, so I filled the tires with air and went for a bike ride. I really like riding a bike, but the weather was cold, and I wonder how I wanted to continue in the winter. Also, I did a road bikeI do not work for winter driving. So I went to my local bike shop and asked them who they recommended cycling.

The seller has recommended the Specialized Hardrock XC Disc brake discs 2008 I really wanted (because they look really cool - I know this is not a good reason, but this is who I am). They recommend the bike because it was in my price range has an aluminum frame, you should stop, go in the winter, had disc brakes, the best in the snow, because the braking systemand snow, and has front suspension.

Now you have over a stupid decision I made to tell. The vendor has recommended a 17-inch frame for me. I rode the bike and I liked it. But I also bought a rack path that connects the spare wheel of my Jeep. I have a bike rack on my Jeep when I got home and tried to put on my new bike rack. The new bike racks will not fit. Also, when I saw the bike just looked small (perhaps it had something to do with notMounting on support). So I took the bike and got the following sizes - 19 inch frame. It 'been a mistake. I would stay with 17-inch frame. Now I know they have a bar that goes over the handlebars instead of the seat just for situations like this to be done.

Now it's time to take the bike for his first trip. At that time I was riding the LRT route in Eden Prairie. I bike 20-22 miles traveled in a time with little difficulty. I was amazed at how much more difficult these surpriseBike was to ride. I could not drive it 6 miles for the first time I tried. I thought something was wrong with the bike. I filled the tires to maximum pressure (80 psi), but this has little impact. I just assumed that mount just work a lot more than riding a bicycle was.

I bought the steering wheel in the middle of October 2007. And I rode the bike, at least every two days and worked my way up to riding 20 miles at a time. I'd say I was very happy with the bike.I rode all winter long as the temperature (wind chill) was about 5 degrees.

Then in the spring I took a bike ride with one of my friends. I thought he would keep a hard time with me. I had to ride all winter and came back to drive 20 miles at a time (because of the snow and cold I drove 12-15 miles at a time in the winter months). When we compete for a trip I could not talk to him. I was embarrassed and could not understand why I was so slow. I finallyfound that the bike was. It 'very difficult and cheap components. I think you get what you pay for.

One problem I had with the bike and I kept braking the rear spokes. The second time I was with new spokes get told that they would upgrade the bike for me. I think they had problems with the rear wheel on this bike. I have no problem with the bike or the rear wheel, since it was updated.

I feel that they are generally satisfied with the 2008 SpecializedHardrock XC Disc Yes, it is difficult and I can not keep up with my friends when I turn it. But that was not why I bought it. I bought a cheap mountain bike ride in the winter. It has served me well for this purpose. In the more I enjoy driving when I'm alone on the track running from my house. I work a lot harder on this bike and I use it for training, so if I ride with other people in my road bike or mountain bike-do the other, it is easier to hold.

But if you lookfor a good mountain bike or off road with other people (especially if they are as competitive as some of my friends) around, I would not recommend this bike. It's too hard and that makes it difficult to share with people.
